A 3.5 km uphill forest trail begins just behind Ramgarh Market, winding past a government apple orchard and through misty woods. At the summit—where Tagore is believed to have stayed during his first visit in 1903—one finds only scattered stones, the remains of an old fireplace, and the whisper of inspiration still lingering in the breeze.
